April Was One for the Books at RISE!

April was a whirlwind of community, sunshine, and giving back—and we loved every minute of it!

We kicked off the month with our very first RISE Day! It was an amazing afternoon filled with good food (thanks to our food truck), bounce houses, face painting, community connections, and lots of sunshine. It was such a success that we’re already planning more RISE Days in the future—stay tuned!

We also got our hands dirty for Earth Day, working alongside over 500 students across Northwest Illinois and Southwest Wisconsin. Together, we built 165 birdhouses, planted 155 lavender plants, and completed several earth-friendly projects. Some of the best team feedback: "This was the best day of my life" and "That was so good for my soul." We thought we were helping the planet—and ended up helping our own hearts too.

Meanwhile, RISE Nights baseball and softball events are in full swing! We've been outfitting local teams with shirts and game-time meals, and cheering on these amazing kids. Starting soon, shirts will be available for purchase—with proceeds going toward sponsorships for local seniors!
