At DC Rise Real Estate, we believe in more than transactions. We believe in community. And one of the ways we live that out is through RISE Nights — an annual program created to celebrate the student-athletes who show up every day with dedication, leadership, and heart.

RISE Nights were created to recognize something statistics can't measure — the character a young person brings to their team, their school, and their community.

Each RISE Night is held during a local sporting event. Coaches and teammates nominate senior athletes who exemplify leadership, teamwork, and a commitment to lifting others up. At the event, DC Rise Real Estate presents RISE Night Awards to the nominated seniors in front of their families, coaches, and community.

Because when we lift each other up — we all rise together.

In 2026, DC Rise introduced the $1,000 RISE Scholarship — open to all RISE Night Award winners. The scholarship grew directly from this program: year after year, reading the nomination comments from coaches and teammates, we kept seeing stories of young people who deserved more than recognition. They deserved an investment in their future.

The scholarship is our way of doing just that.

RISE Nights began three years ago with a single basketball event. Each year the program has grown — adding more sports, more schools, and more communities. Today it spans basketball, volleyball, football, baseball, and softball seasons, and we hope to keep expanding.

This spring alone, nine senior athletes were honored across five schools: East Dubuque, Warren/Stockton, Galena, River Ridge, and Scales Mound.
